My BattleforgePC Won’t Turn On or Boot into Windows
Having power or boot issues? Follow these steps to diagnose and fix your system.
Step 1: Hard Reset
- Turn off your PC
- Unplug AC cord (and battery, if laptop)
- Remove all external devices (USB, SD cards, etc.)
- Hold power button 15–20 seconds
- Reconnect power and restart
Step 2: Identify the Symptom
No Power: No LEDs or fan noise. Could be PSU or power circuit. If the Caps Lock or Num Lock lights on your keyboard don't respond when pressed, the system is likely not even reaching BIOS.
No POST: LEDs blink or beep codes. Likely RAM or motherboard issue.
No Boot: PC passes POST but doesn’t load Windows. May need OS repair or BIOS reset.
No Video: PC powers on but screen is blank. Could be GPU, cables, or monitor.
Step 3: Follow Fix Guides
Fixes for No Power
- Verify the wall outlet and surge protector
- Test the power supply (PSU)
Fixes for No POST
- Reseat RAM and CPU
- Listen to beep codes for diagnostics
Fixes for No Boot
- Boot into recovery mode
- Try BIOS reset or Startup Repair
- Use Safe Mode if needed
Fixes for No Video
- Check GPU seating and power connections
- Inspect monitor cable and ports
- Try a different monitor or use onboard video
